I was inspired by a couple of cards I saw  somwhere on the bloggersphere but I don't remember where I saw them.  I do know that it was about two months ago.

I used the Established Elegance Brush Stamp Set (again!) for the old typewriter.  The pattern paper is from the First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper.   I love using this paper for the vintage look.

I used the My Digital Studio to make the typewriter and the sentiment and then layered onto card stock and added a couple of embellishments.  So I guess this is considered a hybrid card.

 I'd say that Winter has arrived in my little corner of the world.  It was 27 degrees this morning when I took my granddaughter Rachel to school.  Brrrrrrrr...... Maybe that was why I started two Winter cards today (one with snow flakes and the one below) - I should have finished the one with snowflakes because it feels cold enough to snow!

This card uses the Festive & Fun Clear Mount Stamp Set from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  This adorable, three-piece stamp set features fun and fresh designs for conveying heartfelt holiday wishes. Use it to create stacks of cards, tuck them in cello bags, then tie with our 5/8" Satin Ribbon--then give them as gifts to your favorite friends!

I paired the stamp set with several items from the Holiday Mini Catalog to complete the card :

Touch of Kindness

Another whimsical stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalog called  Touch of Kindness.  This delightful set celebrates with a cheery hello, thank you or thinking of you and I love the images in it, especially the cute little birds and bird bath.

 
I paired the stamp set with the Blueberry Crisp Designer Series Paper which is retiring on 30 June 2011.  I've had this DSP since it came out in July 2010 and barely used it.  Now that it is retiring I'm finding all kinds of reasons to use it - go figure!

The image was stamped with Jet Black Stazon on Whisper White Card Stock and colored in using Pacific Point, Basic Gray, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, So Saffron and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Markers.  I used an Aqua Painter to soften the colors. 

It was then layered on Pacific Point Card Stock and Basic Gray Card Stock.  The next layer is the Blueberry Crisp Designer Series Paper which was adhered to the Pacific Point Card Stock  that was embossed using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and layered on Basic Gray Card Stock (base card).  Basic Gray 5/8" Satin Ribbon completed the look.
