Winter Post
Hi Stampin' Friends
The title of this post is so appropriate for today. It started snowing but I don't think it will snow very much or stick but it is beautiful!
This is the card I sent out to all my online customers for the month of December. The image is from the Winter Post Stamp Brush Set. It was colored in Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple and printed out on Very Vanilla Card stock. It looks like they are skating downhill! I made the lines using the free form brush in MDS2. A Cardinal Christmas
Hi Stampin' Friends
I thought I was finished making Christmas cards but when I bought a gift for my BFF Jane, I wanted to make a card that matched the gift bag.
And I thought the Cardinal Christmas Stamp Brush Set was the perfect match. I have the digital download so it's not considered retired - I am so glad because the cardinal is one of my favorite birds and we have a lot of them in this area.
I was able to color in the image with Cherry Cobbler for the cardinal and berries and Old Olive for the leaves. The image was then printed on Very Vanilla Card Stock. One of the updates to the My Digital Studio is the coloring tool and it's awesome! Did you know that you can still get the My Digital Studio on a 30 day trial basis? Check it out!
I reduced the image and printed it out for the inside of the card.
I used the new Needlepoint Embossing Folder for both the panel on the front and the layer on the inside of the card.

Newest Downloads and money holder

I forgot to show you the money holders I made for my grandkids who live out in California. Frankly they are teenagers and don't care what the holder looks like - only what's inside! (LOL) I try to keep them as simple as possible.
Although you can't see it in the picture I added glitter to all 3 images. I think they are really cute!

A Card for Anna - Sneak Peek
Hi Stampin' Friends
Today's card is for my sister-in-law, Anna, who is going through chemo right now. I wanted to give a beautiful lady a beautiful card!
I used the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper from the Spring Catalog. This DSP is absolutely beautiful and "just my cup of tea"! I love the shabby chic look of it. Please note: Stampin' Up! has added the coordinating color card stock to the back of each package. We've been asking for this for a couple of years and they finally delivered! WHOOOHOOO!
I also used the Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder from the Spring Catalog on a strip of Lucky Limeade Card Stock. I added the new 5/8" Flower Trim from the same catalog. The vintage dimensional flowers are gorgeous!
Anna's name was printed on Very Vanilla Card Stock using My Digital Studio 2. I then stamped the frame in Lucky Limeade - it's from the Four Frames Clear Mount Stamp Set. It was punched out using the Decorative Label Punch.
I also embossed the inside of the card using the Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder on Very Vanilla Card Stock.
All of these items will be available for purchase on 3 January 2013. If you are a customer of mine, you should have received your copy of the Spring Catalog by now. If you have not, please let me know and I'll get one out to you.

Brumley 2012 Christmas Card
Hi Stampin' Friends
Today's card is the card we sent out to our friends and relatives this year. I used the My Digital Studio because I didn't want to stamp and color in 50 cards!
The stamp set is the Winter Memories Stamp Brush Set which was printed on Very Vanilla Card Stock. I also used the Vintage Overlays Stamp Brush Set to give it that (well) vintage look! I was able to color the birds, berries on wreath and ribbon in Cherry Cobbler and the leaves of the wreath in Old Olive using the coloring tool in the My Digital Studio 2. The sentiment is from Cardinal Christmas Stamp Brush Set.
The main image was layered with Cherry Cobbler Card Stock. The base card is Early Espresso Card Stock which was embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. You can see the embossing in this close up.
My Spring Catalog goodies have arrived! I am so excited and will have cards up in the next couple of days.

Postage Due
Hi Stampin' Friends
This card is for my husband's niece's husband who is with the Sheriff's department and was in a car accident. I used the Postage Due Stamp Brush Set for his card. I love the vintage look! Don't you? This classic four-piece set will add a touch of class to cards, scrapbook pages, and papercrafting projects of all kinds. It coordinates with the Postage Stamp Punch.
I have plenty of feminine cards on hand but no masculine cards! I guess I'll need to start making more of them so that I don't have to make a quick one at the last minute though I am happy with the way this came out.
The sentiment and image was printed out in Midnight Muse (my new favorite color!) on Very Vanilla Card Stock using the My Digital Studio.
It was layered with Midnight Muse Card Stock. The base card is Crumb Cake Card Stock that was embossed using the Argyle Embossing Folder.

Christmas Lodge
Hi Stampin' Friends
The Christmas Lodge Stamp Brush Set just speaks vintage!
The digital image was printed out using the My Digital Studio on Whisper White Card Stock. I added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Glue to add sparkle to the snow on the roof.
It was layered with Always Artichoke Card stock and then Silver Glimmer Paper. The base card is Always Artichoke. I think I'll make this again and try perhaps Cherry Cobbler Card Stock and the Champaign Glitter Paper.
Note:
- The only glue I find that works with the Glimmer Paper and card stock is the Tombo Multipurpose Glue.

Come to Bethlehem

For today's post, I used the Come to Bethlehem Stamp Brush Set. Not even Ebeneezer Scrooge could resist this four-piece stamp brush set's Old World charms --including a tableau of the Bethlehem-bound wise men as they follow the star in the east. The Antique Brad completes the vintage look.

Lovely as a tree
Hi Stampin' Friends
A moment of silence for the Hostess Ding Dong! I bought a box about a week before I heard the news that the company was closing down and this is the last one from that box. As you may have heard, the company closed down amid continued financial difficulties. No more Ding Dongs!
This was one of my favorite snacks to eat with my 3:00 pm coffee break. I have heard of them selling on Amazon from $39.00 to $99.00 per box but I am not willing to pay that price no matter how much I love them!
For today's card, I used the Lovely As A Tree Stamp Brush Set. With a variety of trees to choose from, the Lovely As a Tree set offers so many options. Stamp a solitary tree or stamp an image multiple times to create your own forest
The sentiment is from Heard From The Heart Stamp Brush Set. Nothing beats a kind word spoken from the heart. With the sentiments in this brush set, you can send your sincere wishes and love to someone special.
The image was printed out in Midnight Muse and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Glue was added to the trees and the ground underneath the trees.
It was layered over Midnight Muse card Stock, then Silver Glimmer Paper. The base card is Midnight Muse. It's quite striking in real life - wish you could see it.

Snow Festival
Hi Stampin' Friends
Well I hope you had a better weekend than I did! It was miserable for me but I know that I'll be better in the next couple of days. I have the most fantastic doctor in the world and he always slips me in on short notice. I seem to get bronchitis often and so quickly - it never starts out as a head cold or something like that and then progresses to bronchitis. I am well one day, boom! next day I have bronchitis - must be my immune system.
Anyway, Rachel spent the day with me and she brings such joy to my life that I felt a lot better just because she was here. She took one of the sheets (the one that has the tags) from the Snow Festival Designer and was making christmas cards for her friends.
I worked on a Christmas card using the same designer paper. I was not feeling creative today so I just used the DSP as the main focal point. I made the sentiment using My Digital Studio (have I told you how much I love that program?)
Excuse for not having the supply list but I think I'm going back to bed.

Pig Trail
Hi Stampin' Friends
David, Larry and I (I played hooky yesterday) spent the day looking for the last fall colors. We went down Pig Trail and were delighted with the colors we found. Why is this spectacular scenic route called the Pig Trail Scenic Byway? Well, for one thing, the meandering nature of the route reminds visitors of a trail carved in the woods from wild pigs. Another factor that influenced the name was that this route has been a major travel way for students, sports fans and other University of Arkansas supporters going to and from Fayetteville, Arkansas, home of the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Sassy Salutations

Hope you are enjoying your fall weekend! I love driving down the road and seeing what tree leaves have turned - love, love the beautiful colors of fall.
Speaking of fall this card was made using the Orchard Harvest Designer Fabric. I brought out the mini Janome sewing machine and sewed the fabric and burlap to a layer of Island Indigo Card Stock.
The edges were frayed using the Paper Piercing Tool. The sentiment is from Sassy Salutations Stamp Brush Set and printed out in Island Indigo on Crumb Cake Card Stock using the MDS2.

Nature Hello
Hi Stampin' Friends
I've been playing around the My Digital Studio again. The background consists of a birdcage from the Nature Stamp Brush Set. The cute little bird is from the Cheep Talk Stamp Brush Set.
The sentiment is from the Happy Greetings Clear Mount Stamp Set and was stamped on Crumb Cake Card Stock using Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink.
The roses were made using a non-SU die - I wish that Stampin' Up! would make something like this available to us so that I wouldn't feel so guilty every time I use it! Of course, it doesn't stop me from using it (LOL). The leaves are from the Bird Punch and were punched out on Always Artichoke Card Stock. Love this punch because it's so versatile!
