Hi Stampin' Friends
Free shipping - April 6-8 only!
A friend's husband had an accident over Easter weekend and I thought I would send him a card. As usual, I don't have a stash of masculine cards so I thought I would make a quick and easy card for him.
I used My Digital Studio for the sentiment. I have the So Sorry Clear Mount Stamp Set but I was in My Digital Studio working on another project and decided to create the colorful sentiment.
I think it took me all of about 15 minutes to create this card.
We just don't have masculine designer series paper in this year's catalog so I am using the retired Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Catalog.
If you need any supplies to make this project, please visit my Stampin' Store for 24/7 service. Or I can place the order for you - just shoot me an e-mail!

Hi Stampin' Friends
I wanted to share the birthday card I've been working on for my birthday in May. It was done using My Digital Studio. The roses are colored in using Baja Breeze and the color tool. The lettering is Early Espresso. The background is Kraft Script Designer Series Paper. I could not find the # for it so it may have come as part of the original package or in one of the updates.
Here's the inside showing different pictures through the years. I don't have any of my childhood because they were lost in one of our moves.
I love using My Digital Studio. Did you know that you can still get the FREE trial MDS for 30 days or buy it at the reduced price of $19.95? There is so much information on the My Digital Studio website that will help you in learning to use it. Currently there are over 254 video's on how to use the software, a discussion forum for any questions you may have and over 21,000 samples in case you need inspiration. Of course, I'm here to help and will answer any questions you may have on how to use the MDS.
Give it a try!

The image was was printed on Whisper White Card Stock using the My Digital Studio and colored with Baja Breeze, Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit and Raspberry Ripple Stampin' Write Markers. The background is from the Pool Party Designer Series Paper.
The style of card is something I usually don't make because you know I love shabby chic! Do you find it as hard as I do to make cards that are not your style?

This card was inspired by one I saw on Diana Gibbs blog. I used Perfect Plum instead of Pretty in Pink and also changed a couple of other things to make it my own.
I hope it's okay to pat yourself on your back but I really, really, really like the way this card came out. It shouts SPRING! So what do you think of this card - does it shout Spring?
The flowers are from the flower trim and were lightly colored on the tips with a Perfect Plum Stampin' Write Marker. The leaves were punched out using the Owl Punch.
The sentiment is from Vintage Verses and was stamped on Very Vanilla Card Stock with Perfect Plum Classic Ink. It was then die cut using the Apothecary Accents Framelits.
The gorgeous beautiful lace is from the Artisan Embellishments Kit.
The Very Vanilla background was emblossed using the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder. The base card is Perfect Plum Card Stock.

Hi Stampin' Friends
Todays' card features the whimsical cute Ears to You Single Stamp. When I picked these colors, I was thinking Easter but after looking at it it could also be a welcome baby card!
I stamped the images in Pink Pirouette on Whisper White Card Stock. I then selected one of the three bunnies to cut out with my Paper Snips. I did this two more times in Baja Breeze and So Saffron. Yes, I used more card stock then I would have had I colored in the images with Stampin' Write Markers and then stamped on Whisper White Card Stock. But it was easier and quicker to stamp it 3 times in the 3 different colors. I don't remember where I found the cute little cutton balls but I've had them for a long, long time but if you didn't have cotton balls, large pearls would work just as well.
The Whisper White Circle inside the Delicate Doilies Baja Breeze Card Stock was die cut using the retired Circles #2 Sizzix die.
The background paper is from the Subltes Collection Patterns Paper Stack. Because I wanted the sentiment to fit in the Bitty Banners Framelits, I generated it in My Digital Studio and then printed it out on Whisper White Card Stock. The one that comes with the stamp is much too large.

Note: If you subscribed to the My Paper Pumpkin, the kits have started shipping - WHOOHOOO - I can hardly wait to play with mine!

Hi Stampin' Friends
I saw this technique on Pinterest (love that Pinterest!) I'll have a video showing how to do the double embossing sometime next week because I have a head cold and you don't want to hear my voice right now (LOL).
The Very Vanilla Card Stock was embossed using the Perfect Polka Dots and the Designer Frames Embossing Folders. That was layered onto Floral District Designer Series Paper. The butterfly is also from the same DSP and was punched out using the Elegant Butterfly Punch.
The sentiment is from the Bring on the Cake Stamp Brush Set and was printed out on Very Vanilla Card Stock and then die cut using the Bitty Banners Framelits.
The base card is Rose Red Card Stock.

Hi Stampin' Friends It seems that for the first couple of months each year, I'm making birthday cards almost every day! Today's card is for my hubby David.
I wanted to make a card that showed moonlight sailing. I tried using the Sail Away stamp but I couldn't get it to come out right and you don't want to see my mistakes! So I decided to do a search in google for an image that I could use.
When David and I lived in California we used to go moonlight sailing and it was so beautiful being out on the water with the moon shining on the ocean. It was amazing how much you see out there!
The base card is Not Quite Navy which was embossed using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. The image was layered with Whisper White Card Stock, then Basic Black Card Stock. The sentiment was printed out using My Digital Studio.

Hi Stampin' Friends
Today's card is for my nephew Bobby John. His birthday is the 1st week in March but since I'll be on a cruise, I thought I'd make it early and get it in the mail before I leave.
I cased this card from Nancy Riley and I love it for its simpicity. All the squares are retired designer series paper but it is still available on the Clearance Rack. Since it's such a quick and simple card, I won't include any directions but I will tell you I used the 1 1/4" square punch for the squares.
I'll have some blog candy while I am gone so stay tune for the details! I also put out a special via my newsletter that's good during my cruise. And I will send out a reminder right before I leave so if you are not on my newsletter list, please subscribe now (upper left hand). You don't want to miss this special!
If you would like to place an order, please visit my Stampin' Store for 24/7 service. Or you can send me the list and I'll place the order for you. But if you order online, you will receive my free tutorial for the month of February. Check it out!

Hi Stampin' Friends
I love to play with My Digital Studio. Today's card is using the She's All That Stamp Brush Set.
I printed out the image on Tea for Two Designer Series Paper and then use our new Ovals Collection Framelits Dies from the Spring Catalog to die cut it. It was layered onto So Saffron Card Stock which was embossed with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder and then die cut with the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies.
The flower is from the Flower Trim from the Spring Catalog. I colored it using the So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker. I love how you can color the flowers any color you like. I'm going to buy several packages because I can see me using them for a long, long time!
The pearls were colored in using a yellow sharpie.

Hi Stampin' Friends
Today's card is for a very dear friend, Diana, that I've known since high school. The card is for her and Wayne's 50th wedding anniversary.
I decided to break open the Artisan Embellishment Kit from the spring Catalog and use the abolutely gorgeous lace that's in it. It's the most beautiful lace that Stampin' Up! has every offered (that I know of) and I absolutely, unconditionally, categorically, totally, love it!
I also used the flowers from the 5/8" flower trim. I sponged them lightly on the ends with Soft Suede Classic Ink. The leaves, from the bird punch, were also sponged on the ends with Soft Suede Classic Ink.
The background is Very Vanilla Card Stock which was embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and then layered on Brushed Gold Card Stock.

Hi Stampin' Friends
My second cousin recently posted a picture of his grandmother and my mom on Facebook. I love this picture. It shows my Mom and my Aunt Esther. Back in the early 50's, my relatives would come down to visit up (we lived about 20 miles north of Santa Barabara near the beach). If the weather was nice, we would end up at the beach having a great time.
I used the template from the a Split Second Designer Template Digital Downloads. I just changed a couple of things:

Hi Stampin' Friends
Finally received my camera memory card so I'm back in business! Today's card using the More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Spring Catalog.
The digital image is from the PS I Love You Stamp Brush Set. I love the cupid image in this set and because it is digital you can make the it as big or as small as you want.
I used the Labels Collection Framelits to die cut the image and then sponged it with Early Espresso Ink. The large heart was die cut using the Hearts Collection Framelites and embossed with the Perfect Polka Embossing Folder. The smaller hearts are die cut from the Fashionable Hearts Embosslits. The tag was made using the Two Tags Bigz Die and embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.
The strip of card stock over the More Amore Speciality Designer Series Paper was made using the MDS2 and the Presto Pattern Overlays Stamp Brush Set. I'm glad I'm able to make a background using the script pattern since the Script Background Stamp is retired.
Since Tina was the first one in 2013 to order online, I am sending her the Sealed with Love Simply Sent Kit.
Tina - It will be on its way to you tomorrow. Thanks for placing that 1st order!
You just never know what I am going to do or when I will give away prizes. Last time I sent a surprise to the person (Lisa) who commented the most on my blog.
Thank you to all my customers - you make me feel so special!
Tomorrow, I'll list my top ten favorites from the Spring Catalog. It should be top 30 because I love almost everything in that catalog and it was hard to decide.

Hi Stampin' Friends
My husband Hoppin' John for dinner. It was delicioius - David is a fantastic cook! In the American South, there’s a saying that, if you eat peas on New Year’s Day, you’ll have plenty of everything the rest of the year, which is why the dish Hoppin’ John made with black-eyed peas is so popular.
So what is your traditional food for New Year's Day?
I still haven't received my memory card and had to scan this card. I should have just gone out to Walmart and bought a memory card! Oh well, live and learn.
I made these cards for my 1st level downline. Instead of a Christmas card, I decided to send them New Year's greetings with a little something inside for them. They are best - I am so lucky to have them on my team.
I used Midnight Cheer Ensemble Digital Download which was a December 25 digital download. I printed it out using the MDS2 software on Whisper White Card Stock. That was layered on Summer Starfruit Card Stock. The base card is Midnight Muse.
