Hi Stampin' Friends
Before I go into today's card, I wanted to show you a picture of the two Rachel's. It's not often that I take a picture with my granddaughter Rachel and it's because I am usually the picture taker!
We matched today! Rachel had a pink shirt on and I had pink crop pants on! The goofy smile (love it!!!) on Rachel is because she recently lost her two front teeth. She believes the "tooth fairy" took her teeth to make piano keys with them!
While I was making today's card, the song "Sail Away" by Enya kept going through my head. I think the official name of that song is Orinoco. I love Enya's style of singing and have practically all of her songs.
I used the Sail Away Stamp Brush Set to create a card for my brother-in-law, Ron Brumley.
You can use the one-piece Sail Away Stamp Brush for rugged, masculine-themed projects with a bold, vintage look. Perfect for large gift tags, summer-themed photobook pages, and in this case, a birthday card.
I added the Fan Fair Designer Series Paper to the top flap of the Very Vanilla Medium Size Envelope. I also added, to the inside of the card, a layer of Very Vanilla Card Stock and a strip of the DSP to the bottom which was punched using the Scalloped Edge Border Punch.
I used the Festive Paper Piercing Pack and Piercing Tool to add interested to the 2nd layer under the sailboat.
Guides on the templates of the Festive Paper Piercing Pack let you create perfect designs every time! 3 unique templates: ea. 6" x 6". Templates coordinate with the Window Frames Collection Framelits Dies, Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies, and the Labels Collection Framelits Dies. Use with the Stampin' Pierce Mat and the Paper-Piercing Tool.
Have the noticed the Brushed Bronze Designer Buttons on page 32 of the Holiday Catalog? They are absolutely gorgeous!
The buttons will give any project a warm accent. The ribbon is from the 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon collection - they are cute and narrow and perfect for threading through buttons!

Great picture of two 'pretty in pink' Rachels! Looks like you are wearing a pink watch too!
